Gotta love that spirit! Give S.K. Renait a follow.
Once again, thank you Gary and The Manic Chef :)

Wow, never thought I'd see you blog again. It's nice to see you. I hope things are going well for you down under. And everyone is healthy.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the award and for taking the time to read 'Sylvestre'. I love the warmth and feeling your blogs exude. Nice to hear from you again.
ReplyDeleteHi Anne - I know, I come and go on blogger much like nausea! All good Down Under. Thanks for asking.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you too :)
S.K - You're very welcome and all the best with 'Sylvestre'.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the award. And with just having driven another 400 mile rare blood run, I know that sometimes life can get in the way of blogging! I always look forward to your posts.
ReplyDeleteOh, hi, Anne & S.K. May today be fun and filled with only happy surprises. I am heading out of the door at work, hoping no one else calls since I am on first call. Whew!
Book me a flight to New Zealand! I need a vacation. LOL. Roland
Hey Roland - I really don't know how you do it. I have no excuse for not blogging regularly. Then again, ever heard of a leopard changing its spots? No, I didn't think so. Me either :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome and drive safely. Oh, and don't forget to strap in :)
Hello there Wendy aka Quillfeather!! You are gorgeous to deserve these fab awards from these fab bloggers!!! Congratulations! And yay for Roland D Yeomans and all here with books and stories to dazzle the world! Take care
ReplyDeletex
Wendy, I'm so glad you're back. I missed you. I have it on good authority that Penny the Jack Russell and modest internet star missed you too. Congratulations on your awards. Hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteOld Kitty - Thanks sweetpea, you can dazzle the world too!
ReplyDeleteAlways lovely to see you and don't forget to take home your award :)
Joylene - Like I said to Anne, I come and go like waves of nausea. Very nice to see you too. Definitely my turn to swing by your blog :)
ReplyDeleteI would like to add my thanks to all the rest and also stress the point that thinking for me is very occasional. Very.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I'm hoping to get some white wine that is not of questionable vintage when I arrive in Marlborough... soon.
Michael - Yes, thinking is very overrated. It gets my characters into all sorts of trouble. And me, for that matter.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you here :)
Wow! I thought this blog had been closed down? hehehe!!
ReplyDeleteYou're not the only one, mate. I have loads of awards, I haven't put any of mine up yet :D
Congratulations on the awards. :)
ReplyDeleteKurt - Very funny! I know I don't post often but even so. Haha!
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to see you here, good sir :)
Golden Eagle - thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteAwwww - thanks so much, Wendy! You made my whole crazy NaNo/report card filled day! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd btw, you couldn't be the world's worst anything!!!
Hi Jemi - You're so sweet! Thanks for that :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and you're very welcome!
Hey Wendy,
ReplyDeleteI think I can take the coveted 'prize' for world's worst blogger :) You know how some folks apologise for not blogging recently? Well, I should apologise when I do a blog :)
You know it was my honour to bestow those awards upon your good self. You, dear lady, are the epitome of positive interaction within the blogging community and I very much value your friendship :)
Hearty congrats to all those wonderful people you forwarded the awards onto. Well done to them.
Take very good care Wendy and happy writing.
In kindness and friendship, your way, Gary :)
Gary! Thank you so very much! And once again, I do apologize for my laziness. Have absolutely no excuse whatsoever ...
ReplyDeleteHave been meaning to email for days. Will rectify shoddy situation tomorrow, good sir :)
And one more thing - shouldn't you be in bed?? It's after 5am in the bloody morning! Haha!
Gidday Wendy,
ReplyDeleteAha, well almost five in the morning. I've been trying to catch up on commenting on blogs. I know how much bloggers wait 'anxiously' for my 'award winning' comments, or Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet star's comments :)
Talk soon Wendy and happy writing your way. I shall go to bed now...or maybe in a hour, or...:)
Gary - You must get your beauty sleep, good sir! Whatever will Penny think, Knowing you've been up all night? Haha!
ReplyDeleteChat tomorrow :)
Dearest Wendy, I truly enjoyed this entry, I found it not all that "dark", now the other writings......hhhmmmmmm.....I'll get back to you on that...lol. You are very welcome and thanks for mentioning me. I fully intend on giving S.K. Renait a follow, been wanting to since he began to follow me. Glad we are following one another, take care and write some more...come on... I know you can do it! Later....
ReplyDeleteHello, Manic Chef :) I do love your encouragement. 'Come on ... come on ... I know you can do it'. And you know what? I think I can too.
ReplyDeleteWell, I can't hang around here all day. Have things to write!
Oh, and thanks once again for the award. Most kind :)
Just wanted to let you know that I still pop in gtom time to time. Keep up the good work
ReplyDeletegtom is typoese for FROM
ReplyDeleteHi Ramon - Always nice to see you here. You keep up the good work too, good sir :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and I guessed, gtom, was meant to be from!
All well deserved, I'm sure! Keep going strong, my dear. You're a breath of fresh air. So good to see you around the blogs again.
ReplyDeleteHi Carol - So lovely to see your face on my blog again :) Keep changing those passwords. Can't have you going AWOL again. Crikey!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all,
ReplyDeleteI just galloped by to see if y'all were still about...been missing you...obviously in more ways than one!
Now I'm off to check out the fellows to whom you passed the awards!
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Hi Browndog - Delighted to see you galloping by, kicking up your heels!
ReplyDeleteCatcha over at your blog soon :)
Just wanted to respond to a comment you left, but couldn't reply by email. Hope you don't mind me leaving it here:
ReplyDeleteMy dearest Wendy,
You are one of the kindest souls I know. I admire who YOU are. I think I remember you posting about the earthquake and being so moved by your post. Maybe the seed was planted in me even back then?
I wish you could come with me, too. Perhaps one of these years...but I suspect that you do a lot to help others right where you are. You have always seemed like that kind of person to me. So pure in your heart.
<3 <3 <3
Carol - Very sweet of you to say. Thank you. Disasters such as Haiti where those so vulnerable are left abandoned by their own people make me ashamed to be part of the human race. I despair of the human race at the best of times, but what's sad is that so much money was raised from all over the world - never to reach its destination. Gobbled up by bureaucrats/fats cats instead to feather their already plump warm nests.
ReplyDeleteI wish you well in your quest. I for one will be tuning in to your updates.
Bye for now sweetpea xxx
As Christmas grows nearer, it occurred to me that I have not thanks enough to my friends for simply being the rarest treasure of all -- a friend. Thanks, friend. Roland
ReplyDeleteHey Roland, Christmas is indeed a time to reflect on those who have been 'good' and those whom have been 'bad' :) Not quite sure which category I fall into, but thanks anyway, my friend!!
